Is Love Aaj Kal the Movie a Remake of Taiwanese Film?

India is having an extremely gigantic geography and culture. We have got a multilingual country where the people stay together and having the most amicable love and marriage.
Plagiarism has remained an integral part of literature. It may be a little extent or a great extent or may be directly or indirectly. So to speak, we learn every thing secondhand. So my concern is Love Aaj Kal the Movie that released on 31st of July 2009. This was the first such attempt of Saif Ali Khan. He needs to be crowned with flying colors. The people on the web have been discussing that the movie is an imitation of Taiwanese movie. But I am of different standpoint since we have a rich literature from the very outset. We are too innovative to show the world. Why we Indian people are not realizing that we have enough capability to have our own stuff? The Love Aaj Kal film basically a storyline of love of decades back and the love of today. And in this movie Saif Ali and Deepika has tried to make the people understand the love between forty years back and the love of internet era is the same.
In no way, it is an imitation of Taiwanese movie. I have seen on the web and also in the newspapers that almost all the movie have been either remade or plagiarized. It is said that nearly all the bollywood movies have been imitated. Then, where is our culture and custom on which we exist today. We have to admit and the entire world has to admit as well that we are having our own capability and we can survive on our own. Ultimately, The Love Aaj Kal Movie is not an imitation of Taiwanese Movie.

Chintu Ji is the production of Kaleidoscope Entertainment. It is hoped Chintu Ji will be a great success after the success of Love Aaj Kal where Rishi Kapoor has presented himself as Veer Singh. The movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ basically a storyline of love in different era. Rishi Kapoor has expressed his love experience in the prime of his youth to Jai. Jai astonishes on knowing the silent love but effective and same as today’s love.
But, in the Chintu Ji movie Rishi has the role poles apart. He presents himself as a politician. Hadbahedi, a smart and forward looking as well as an honest city competes with the corrupted neighboring town/village Triphla. The people of Hadbahedi feel that they are completely neglected by the Government and seek their identity under the leadership of Arun Bakshi. In course of time, things brighten and the leader discovers Rishi/Chintu who took birth on this soil before 55 years. Chintu Ji was invited by the people of Hadbahedi. Chintu Ji realizes that Hadbahedi could be his favored constituency. Rishi /Chintu entered into politics and got trapped by the people of Triphla.
